Your Chester County Library is a tax-supported, county-wide free public library system governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees. The Trustees are appointed by the Chester County Council, who also provide a major part of the Library’s operating funds. Other funds come from local, state, federal, and private sources, including grants.
The system includes these libraries: Chester County Library, Great Falls Community Library, the Lewisville Community Library, and a multi-stop Bookmobile. Your library card can be used at any of these four outlets. The Chester County Library provides cultural, informational, and educational materials and access for persons of all ages. We welcome your ideas and suggestions on improving our services and how to meet any and all of your informational needs.
