As part of our Summer Reading program, Chester County Library partnered with DK Publishing to bring an incredible finale to our patrons. We were pleased to have members from the Star Wars 501st Legion including the Carolina Garrison and the Rebel Legion to be part of our event. Biker Scouts, a Tie Fighter Pilot, a Tuscan Raider, Padme Amidala, Obi Wan Kenobi, Barriss Offee, as well as some Jedi younglings were on hand to help us celebrate
YA Summer Reading Walking Ghost Tour
Thursday July 12 we will be hosting a Walking Ghost Tour for our Young Adult Summer Readers(6th-12th graders) however all patrons are invited. Mr. Tally Johnson will lead a tour around the historically haunted sites in our downtown area. During the tour he will discuss the old Chester County Jail, The old Powell Theatre and other interesting spots.
K5-5th Summer Reading Finale
Chester County Library is excited to announce the finale of our summer reading program “Dream Big”. To help us celebrate, members of the Star Wars 501st Legion have planned to be in attendance on Monday July 9th at the main library. Hours: 11:00-12:00 for our Kindergarten through 5th grade summer reading program participants 12:00-1:00 for the general public
